Losing weight is tough. On just about any weight loss program you will hit a plateau. Fasting is a method that can help you breach that plateau. One of the tricks I use in helping people with intermittent fasting and 3 day fasts is a cowboy coffee.
You are buying the supplies from your local store and not someones fancy shake or supplement. You can make it as expensive or cheap as you want. Since I drink this on a daily basis I use organic butter and coffee beans. It is worth the expense to me. You ate dinner and went to bed. So your body has been burning through its glycogen stores. Once it burns through those you will start to burn fat. Now if you eat a breakfast that has carbohydrates in it (most store bought breakfasts’ are junk food) you will have just replenished the glycogen stores. Now if you drink a cowboy coffee which is 99 % fat the body will continue its process towards burning fat instead of using glucose or creating more fat.
The nice thing about this is that it takes no time to make. I spend 3 minutes in the morning making this as opposed to 15 to 30 minutes making breakfast and sitting down to eat. The time I used to use for making breakfast now I use to stretch and meditate. Same thing with lunch. I eat a big dinner, but still end up eating less calories than if I ate three meals a day.
It is priceless. Increased health, more time, got rid of my diabetes, lower blood pressure, and the list goes on. The video shows the coconut oil version. I do not use that much anymore because I have graduated to MCT oil . MCT oil is something you have to slowly work up to. If you are going to use this start with a teaspoon and gradually increase the dose till you hit a tablespoon. MCT stands for medium chain triglyceride and is made from coconut oil. The brand I use only has C8 and C10 MCT’s which is what you want. So if you are going to look for this in your local health food store make sure that is what you get. There is a big difference between the coconut oil you use for cooking and the pure MCT oil .
