INSULIN IS THE KEY LOVELAND MEDICAL CLINIC LOVELAND COLORADO

Fast Weight Loss - Fort Collins Weight Loss Clinic Resolutions Day2

Fork important to health Loveland Medical Clinic

This is Siegfried  with the Loveland Medical Clinic in 22 day weight-loss program,  day two of our new year's resolutions . The resolutions are get rid of the sweet drinks , move a bit more,  sleep or try to get as close to eight hours sleep as possible,  supplement with vitamin D3 and don't forget to check your levels and of course we're going to give intermittent fasting a trial.

Remember that doesn't mean just soda. Getting rid of sweet drinks  also means juices,  sweet tea, and  anything that has a fairly hefty load of carbohydrates in it.  Now the reason you wanted to eliminate  alcohol is because alcohol is made from carbohydrates and the body preferentially likes to burn alcohol.  What the body does it breaks the alcohol down and you get a delayed carbohydrate surge which also spikes the insulin  a bit. Beer has yeast and grains which are not quite the best in the world for you and will also spike your insulin.  What you want to do is to switch to water, sparkling water, tea, and black coffee and  drink the cowboy coffee. I do that twice a day.  There is a

youtube video that I have on this challenge that will show you how to make my version of a cowboy coffee . Just take it easy on the MCT oil when you first start out.

Move more.  Well  how did I do on my second day. I fell short of my 10,000 steps, only got 9804  steps.  I got up early in the morning and  did my walk, Let me tell you, that was

a cold walk  at 18 degrees . I've made a habit of this. I get up every morning,  cold glass of water, and go for my walk.  Once it becomes a habit it gets easier and  easier to accomplish.  Remember, we're going to aim for 10,000 steps daily and we also want to get out of our chair at least every 20 minutes.  Like I said I like to use this app called the Pomodoro. Basically  it is on my computer and just reminds me I need to change positions . That's the big thing , changing from sitting to standing.

Vitamin d3 I take my 2,000 units of the D3 with my K2.  I do have a brand that I kind of like to use but I don't use it every single day because   it has

five thousand international units of D3 in  one capsule. I don't tend to do that on a daily basis alternating  doing this and then 2,000 units for two days and then I'll to go back to the high dose.  It also it helps to eat fatty foods when you take this because your body will absorb it better.

How did i do on the sleep ? Well unfortunately going back to fitbit  you can see

that I didn't even get seven hours sleep.  The reason for that is that it is just hard to wind down after a 12-hour shift knowing you have to go back the next day and do it again.  You are just sitting down relaxing,  winding down,  turning your brain off and I have to usually do that a couple hours before I sleep.  I'm up every morning at five so for me I actually have to  get to bed

earlier if I want to get my eight hours of sleep in.

The last thing is  intermittent fasting.  I  intermittent fast every day. I don't count the cowboy coffee. I have my cowboy coffee around six in the morning and  another cowboy coffee around 12. Then around 5ish I eat  dinner which was steamed vegetables with some shrimp with a butter sauce and some zucchini noodles all mixed into it. It was  really, really good.

I ruined it all when I came home I had a cosmo. It does help you relax. For a good portion of the day I was just on ketones which is where you want to be.

Once again those resolutions  1. get rid of sweet drinks  2. move a bit more  3. try to get as close to eight hours of sleep as possible 4.  vitamin D supplementation and don't forget to check your levels and  5.slowly work yourself into intermittent fasting on the 22-day

program.  The way it's designed is to actually transition people slowly over from utilizing carbs to actually being in a full ketogenic state which is really an optimal state of health.

We are  going to start eliminating some of the  repetitive stuff and i'm going to start introducing some information that will help you with your health in the long term.
