AVOCADO EGG KETO SNACK
One of my favorite snacks that only take 15 minutes to make. 34 g fat, 12 g protein, and 4 g net carbs. There is 370 calories in this snack so I use it in place of eating my salad(I would eat my salad except I’m too full). I like my egg a bit runny. I use Vital Farms organic pasture raised chicken eggs(more omega 3’s) and Hass avocados. I usually have had around 300 calories earlier in my coffee because of all the ghee and MCT oil. Couple of hours later I will eat dinner which will be around 1500 calories. As you can see, I keep my caloric intake up to keep my metabolism functioning normally.
Ingredients for Keto Avocado Egg Snack
- 1 medium avocado
- 2 medium eggs
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- pinch of sea salt
- pinch of black pepper
- 1/8 cup Parmesan cheese (grated or shredded)
Directions to make keto snack
- Preheat the oven to 350°F. Take your avocado, cut in half with the pit removed and scoop out about 1/3 of the meat from each half. You’ll want to create enough space for the egg to fit inside.
- Place the avocado halves into a muffin tin so that their tops are face up.
- Sprinkle each half with garlic powder, sea salt, and black pepper.
- Crack 1 egg into each halved avocado and sprinkle the cheese over tops of the eggs.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, until the egg white is set and no longer jiggles when you shake the pan. I do 12 minutes because I like my yolk runny.

“I chose this place because it is run by a nurse practitioner. No costly extras, just a great weight loss plan. Eventually, you will need to buy a ketone meter because the urine strips will stop working. 60 days in and I’ve lost 30 lbs. This would be a difficult program for plant-based lifestyles. If eating meat and animal products is a concern for you might want to consider another plan.”
