Friday Corn Roast Festival Loveland

Kids are back in school and it is that time of the year for the Loveland Corn Roast Festival. This festival is put on by the Loveland Chamber of Commerce and is a great local festival. This year the event kicks on   Friday, August 24 at 5 pm. 

At   5:30 P.M.  the fun starts with a corn shucking contest. It is absolutely amazing how many ears of corn these contestants can shuck. Of course, there is a beer. We live in one of the epicenters in the US for microbreweries.  You can only buy roasted corn on this day, but there are plenty of other food vendors available. The music entertainment of the night will be Soul School. 

Corn Roast Festival Saturday

Depending on how much time you spent at the beer garden last night you might not be feeling so hot. Loveland Medical Clinic offers IV hydration therapies and is just 10 minutes away. Come to visit us so you can keep the party going. Today you can get both roasted and boiled corn. Of course, all the vendors will be around and the beer garden will be open. The first musical group is DOTSERO JAZZ starting at 12. Following them is FUNKY BUSINESS who I really like. They play a lot of local events and are quite a large musical group. Last group of the night is JAKE GILL who starts at 630 and will close this years 2018 Corn Roast Festival up. 

 

 

Don’t forget a couple other fun events starting with the parade at 0930. If you are good are cornhole you don’t want to miss the tournament which starts at one. All in all, this is a local event that is a blast and make sure you get out and have fun.
