Toenail Removal Loveland

Do you really think there is anything pleasant about an  ingrown toenail?  I have an ingrown toenail that I have put off treating because I know what is involved. Now you can go to a podiatrist but they will charge you an arm and leg to get your toenail removed. You can roll the dice and see if an urgent care will do it, but many won’t touch it. When I worked in the ER many considered this an outpatient treatment not worthy of an ER visit. So let’s talk about what’s involved.

Hopefully before you consider having your toenail removed you have been doing Epson salts soaks for 10 to 20 minutes 3 to 4 times a day. You’ve taken a cotton whisk and placed it between the nail and the skin. Sometimes his works and  sometimes it doesn’t. Most of the time an ingrown toenail is self-induced. You cut the nail wrong or you wore bad shoes. How you got here does not mattter.  At this point how you are going to treat this matters ?  

 

So what do you want to do?

Here is the procedure

1. We inject some lidocaine into the base of your toe. This hurts like hell. No way around it. 
2. Now that your toe is numb, anything we do from this point on you won’t feel. Sometimes we can just cut a little wedge out and sometimes we have to take the whole nail out.
3. If it is just a wedge you are back at work in a couple days. If it is the whole nail you could be out for a week ( if you work on your feet).
4. Nice thing about having this done at home is that you don’t have to walk on this . You are home and you stay there for the next couple of days.

The unique thing about our company is that we can come to you. No going to a doctors office, waiting for the procedure,  and then  hobbling around on a painful foot getting home or anything else. If I could find someone to come to my home and take care of my nail I would.
